Lessons will cover how to save more and be financially secure; how to increase your income; how to grow your money by investing.
Sustainable entrepreneurship
The course will help you understand how to combine environmentally sustainable approaches and entrepreneurship. Through theoretical knowledge and practical group work, you will learn how to do sustainable business. You will gain a better understanding of the social and environmental impacts of the life cycle of products and be able to create a circular economy business model.
Applied biology
In the applied biology course, you will learn about applied biology in agriculture (e.g. breeding of plant species and breeds), food, pharmaceuticals and energy, as well as its role in the economy and everyday life. The course builds on the knowledge, skills and attitudes acquired in biology lessons and links with chemistry, geography, physics, mathematics and other subjects in secondary school.
Balanced and healthy diet
In this course, you will learn how to take care of your health today and in the future. You'll learn to make healthy eating choices that will improve your energy levels and help you achieve better results in your studies and in sports. You'll learn how to create a menu that keeps you in your best shape.
Effective learning
Learning can seem really challenging. We all have our own strategies and ways of learning that we have naturally developed. Research shows that many students do not know and do not use the most effective strategies in their learning. The secret to effective learning is to understand how our memory works and how to use this knowledge to your advantage.
Architecture as a living environment
A cross-disciplinary elective course that develops divergent thinking, analytical skills, visual literacy, creativity, entrepreneurship, empathy – skills that are needed in many disciplines.
User-centric design and prototyping
This course is primarily intended for those interested in software development who are not interested in programming themselves. The course explains the concept of design and the processes and methods of creating digital products or services. We will also work together to create prototypes of digital products (e.g. mobile apps). Participation in the course does not require programming skills.
Intercultural competence course
Intercultural competence course (in English) is designed to give students the capacity to examine global and intercultural issues, to appreciate the perspectives and world views of others, engage in open, appropriate and effective interactions with people from different cultures, and to act for sustainable development and collective well-being.
Creating circular economy
Our economy is designed to extract raw materials from nature, process them into usable goods and then discard them either into a landfill, incinerator or somewhere in nature (usually by accident). This linear system is wasteful and the losses result in negative environmental impact.
The alternative to the linear economy is the circular economy, which is all about redesigning the way we produce goods and services so that they meet our needs in more sustainable and regenerative ways.

This course supports your independent coping, helps you understand other people and develops meaningful attitudes and values, provides support for personal development, and gives knowledge and skills to improve and maintain the quality of life.
